Dress Code - Casual dress is acceptable for a Catholic Mass. Appropriate casual dress is clean, neat, and modest. It is typical for women to wear a dress, a skirt and blouse, or pants and top and for men to wear slacks and a shirt with a collar. A few men prefer to wear suits and ties and likewise some women choose to wear more refined apparel. Modest choices in either casual or formal attire are acceptable and appropriate.

Childcare - A 'cry room' is available on the East side of the narthex with seating, a window, and speakers so that you can participate in the Mass.

FAQ - Holy Redeemer has a traditional Roman Catholic Mass that lasts about an hour on Sundays and for thirty minutes during the weekdays. Following are a couple of frequently asked questions along with answers about the Mass.

  • Q. Why can't non-Catholics take communion in the Catholic Church? A. As Catholics, we believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of our oneness in faith, life and worship. We pray in each Mass for the time that we all may be one and the sharing of this sacrament will then be possible. The Catechism of the Catholic Church reflects on this teaching.
  • Q. May I participate in other parts of the Mass? A. You may as your comfort level permits. It is permissible to stand, kneel, sit and respond as others do and as your conscience dictates.
